Seasons bring special things to the farm, like nowhere else. During spring the air will be
filled with calf and lamb noises, and you can see many beautiful native flowering trees and
flowers. Fall brings the cooler weather, and with it, the many shades of fall color. Summer is
a great time for horseback riding or exploring for wildlife. Or in winter, relax in the cozy
living room with a good book and a fire in the stone fireplace.

If it suits you better, perhaps you'd like to help or observe our operating grass fed cattle
and sheep operation. We've been farming at the homestead for over 20 years and have
registered Shorthorns, and Katahdin sheep. We also have years of experience perfecting a
pasture rotation program that provides the animals plenty of nutritious natural vegetation
most of the year. The daring person might even like to hunt for eggs in the barn, or hand
feed the many colorful chickens we raise for egg production.
